Lazy Load Tips

After install, the Lazy Load Extension will run on Category, Product View and Related Products or Up Sell. If you like to make it run on other pages here are a few simple steps:

1. Add the html class "lazy" to the img element

2. Add the html data-original attribute with the path to the image

3. Add a image in "src" attribute which will be displayed before the image loads (usually it's a gif animated image)

Lazy Loading is also available in Banner Slider and OWL Carousel - Free Extension, you can enable lazy loading for sliders and carousels using admin options.

Advanced Settings

Start Loading Early	Enable to load images earlier than visible on viewport/screen.
Negative Margin	Insert the Threshold at which the images are loaded, before they appear on the screen. For example, insert 300, for images to be loaded at 300px from viewport/screen.
Effect Speed	Effect Speed in milliseconds. For example insert 1000 for 1 second of the animation speed.
Loading Placeholder	Enable to be able to choose your own placeholder for the loading period of the images. Below you can upload your own file.
Loading Icon	Only 'jpg', 'jpeg', 'gif', 'png', 'svg' is allowed.
Placeholder Width	Insert the maximum width of the placeholder in pixels. For example insert 50 for a width of 50px.
